OBD Test
Engine Models 2013 & Newer
We connect to your truck's diagnostic system to emissions, check fault codes, and verify monitor readiness. Fast and accurate, results are sent to CARB in real time. Required twice a year for most heavy-duty diesel vehicles, quarterly starting October 2027.
California-registered diesel motorhomes with a GVWR over 14,000 lbs are also subject to Clean Truck Check OBD requirements and test once per year. Fleet Rescue can test them — same mobile service, we come to your location.
Opacity & Visual Inspection Test
Engine Models 2012 & Older
For older heavy-duty trucks, buses, and RVs without standardized OBD ports, we perform a smoke opacity test plus a visual inspection of emissions control components. Results submitted directly to CARB immediately after testing.
California-registered diesel motorhomes with 2012 and older engines and a GVWR over 14,000 lbs require OVI testing once per year. Fleet Rescue is credentialed to test diesel motorhomes on-site — same mobile service, we come to your location.

Pre-Test & Free Re-Test
Peace of Mind Before & After
Request a free pre-test at time of booking — OBD vehicles only. Adds ~30 minutes. Payment required before pre-test is performed.
If your vehicle fails the official test, we'll return within 30 days at no charge once repairs are completed. OBD vehicles must have all readiness monitors showing "Ready" before re-test.
